Shed Construction

The shed on the Port Fairy Showgrounds was provided and erected by Western District Sheds.  Proprietor, Greg Barlow, assisted by a few members of the Port Fairy Men's Shed, put up the Shed on the Port Fairy Showgrounds.

The original shed was 33 x 9 metres comprising 10 x 3.3 metre bays and split into three sections:
  1. Main workshop area  (5 bays)
  2. Meeting Room/ Kitchen and toilet area (2 bays)
  3. Lions Club storage area (3 bays)

The fit-out of the Shed was arranged through BA Building Services under the guidance of Brian Atkins.  The electrical work was done by Ken Lemke under supervision by local electrician, Max Atkins.  The plumbing work was supervised by Darryl Lewis from Moody's Plumbing in Port Fairy.
